Hi everyone! I'm sure I'm not the only one tired of all this snow, so I decided to share my latest project to help chase the winter blues away. This is a before and after picture of a candle holder I picked up at a thrift store. I painted it and put tiny terra cotta pots in place of the candles, making it a perfect succulent planter! This will hang on the lattice of my porch planter pictured on the left. I found the little pots at Menards, and they even came with succulent seeds. I was not entirely optimistic the seeds would germinate, but imagine my surprise yesterday when I peeked into my little greenhouse to see a large percentage of the seeds already sprouting! (I planted them last Saturday, according to the package, seeds take 1-3 months to germinate) Can't wait for flower season!!
